At dusk, everyone redressed in light cloaks and Rhea and Snowe filled two bags with charms for luck, bandages and gauze, and anything they thought would be helpful against phantoms. Canan and Iain had one of the High Priestesses open the weapon vault within Barina so they could grab a few weapons. It had been a long time since the vault had been opened last, but Esmeralda made a convincing case that her disciples needed to be armed. Magic could easily deal with a phantom on its own, but against a hoard of phantoms, it wouldn’t hurt to have a weapon or two. Iain still had his long sword from the capital and Canan grabbed for her and Rhea two lightweight swords. Since Snowe didn’t know how to use a sword, Rhea found him an old staff he could at least swing and hit phantoms with.

All is well and good so far, plus all the systems up to this point that weren’t listed can function aside from online games, if any.
The XBONE is slated to release in holiday 2013. It requires online connection. It has DRM. It has spyware (Kinect 2). Microsoft even stated that users that don’t have online should stick with the 360. Games require a user fee, likely full price for used games. Finally, you are effectively renting the right to play XBONE games. When the XBONE is replaced with its successor or if Microsoft exits the market, all the servers go down and you can’t play anything anymore. Assuming you can find a working cabinet, it is still possible to play PONG from 1972. It won’t be possible to play XBONE games in 2054, I assure you.

“Are you feeling better?” Esmeralda asked as she glanced over the scars still present on Snowe’s back.
“They don’t hurt anymore,” Snowe replied. “Even if I don’t sleep well.” He prepared to feel the cold salve against his back, but Esmeralda moved in front of him again and sat before him. She had a smile on her lips.
It’s 8th June, 2013.
And I’ve just finished my fifth novel (well, this one is just bordering out of novella). It’s entitled Rune Mathura and the Case of the Village Jumbie. I wrote this in a short space of time. I started sometime in early April (right after Littletown Secrets’ manuscript had…
Someone raised my attention that there has not been an update on another site, which was odd because I remember posting one up a few weeks ago asking for beta-testers … I am assuming I did not hit the second confirmation button to post, silly me. That would explain the lack of response! Well,…

Tropical Storm Andrea, St. Pete Beach, Florida.
That is only a few miles from my house. It was a nasty, nasty morning into early afternoon with 60 mph gusts, heavy rains, and even the occasional tornado. While it may not seem too bad, it is also very, very early in the hurricane season. Areas that get hit (or a near-miss like the above) tend to get more tropical storms/hurricanes later in the season, which runs from June 1 to November 30.

Suzerre was a large and sprawling city full of travelers, merchants, guards, practically anyone imaginable. It was one of the commercial hubs of Norin and as such, a train station sat at the north end of town. Day in and day out, one could hear the trains coming and going even from the temple in the desert and with the trains came different travelers and merchants. Many of the merchants congregated near the large fountain in the middle of town, their stalls set up and already by late morning, swamped with buyers. From the fountain, the city spanned out and it was made up of tall buildings that were filled with a multitude of different businesses. Unlike Barina, everything in Suzerre stood out against the surrounding land and Snowe guessed that no one could miss it in the distance. Red brick walls surrounded the back of Suzerre and kept it separate from the desert beyond (though anyone could circumvent Suzerre and walk right into the desert, Snowe doubted it would be a good idea regardless). The transport stopped at the Suzerre gates and opened for the travelers within. The guards that helped unload whatever came from Barina greeted Canan and Rhea as the priestesses led Snowe into Suzerre. Their first stop was right inside the gates at the small guard office just off to the side.
She took deep breaths and sucked on her gums, lapping her tongue slowly over the edges of her lower molars. She went to the desk and peered at the book—a thick, hardcover-bound tome. She had expected to see even the blurry squiggles but it was empty. She flipped through the pages. All empty.

As an artist, I’ve found difficulties finding references images of several things: Modern fashion, variation of facial features, and normal standing/walking poses.
A lot of reference images, especially ones I find for gesture drawing, focus on very… extreme poses, often unnatural or posed…

I have been using ‘Sharpie’ as a writing utensil. It makes me feel much happiness. I felt so much joy, Americana Dawn’s webpage has returned. I hope you feel the same mirth as I do while breathing the Sharpie.
I will be adding updates and screens to it.
