CAVE TO CYBER CITY CONTINUED
However, this is a good way to build Exp. and Gold. They’re just (3)Magic Slimes, which, in terms of difficulty, aren’t much! In the treasure chest, you’ll find the Golden Armor (use instead of the Silver Armor you have now). It’s a fair improvement over Silver, but you can get them in Cyber City. So, it’s up to you to see if it’s worth the trip.
Being the adventurer that the RPG World needs sorely these days, I say you should get it! Go back upstairs. You’ll (surprise!) end up back at the entrance to the cave on Level 1. Weird!
Now go to the stairs in the North, hopefully not falling back down to Level 0 again! You’ll emerge near a savepoint on Level 2. DO NOT go Right (east) from the stairs, or you’ll fall down through Level 1 back to Level 0! There’s a savepoint in the east, so go north 1 step, then go east. Save, go west past the stairs. On the second step west, go north 1 step, or you’ll fall to Level 1 (back at the entrance).
After that, go west 2 steps, then go south, or you’ll fall! Then continue west and north to the Level 3 stairs. Make sure you don’t hug the walls or step on the area 1 step south of the stairs, or you’ll fall to Level 1.
Level 3: Compared to Levels 0, 1, and 2, this place looks like Swiss cheese! Fortunately there is a savepoint at the steps. It’s also helpful to know that you’ll only fall to the stairs leading here if you mess up. Even better: No enemies to distract you! How to make it through: Go 5 steps north of the savepoint. Turn Right. Go 3 steps right, 5 steps down, 4 steps right, 2 steps up, 4 steps right, 4 steps up, 3 steps left, 7 steps up, 2 steps right, 9 steps up. Then just go west, south, east, and then north! Now you’re at the steps to Level 4!
Level 4: It focuses more on infinite loops than holes. Therefore making it easier, if you know what’s going on. If you’ve been going up for 2 minutes and haven’t reached the edge of the level, chances are, you’re in a loop. There’s only 2 holes, but those lead you to the Level 3 entrance.
From the steps: Go up about six steps. If you go any farther, you’ll be in the loop. Go down to exit. Then go left 2 steps. This is the other loop. Go right to exit. Next go down 7 steps. Any farther and you’ll fall into Hole #1. Go left 9 steps and go up 2.
Not a hole or loop, just the quickest way. You’ll also avoid the 2nd hole (in a 2x2 corridor) this way. Now you’re at the stairs to Level 5, the final level of this cave.
Level 5: If you go north, chances are almost 100% that you’ll fall in a hole. If you go east, the odds drop to about 75%. If you go west, the odds ARE 100%. If you go south, the odds are low that you’ll fall into a hole, but then there are those infinite loops again. Go to the savepoint 2 steps north, go south, then hug the right wall for 8 steps, missing the hole on the left. There are no more holes! After this, just be cautious that you’re not in an infinite loop. After this, you’re out of the big mess that is the cave to Cyber City.
